Okay, I showed gabe this and it was really bothering him that Syd wasn't singing it perfectly so he went over and got my camera and made her do it again. (Yes he knows how to work my camera). Oh, and sorry my kids never have clothes on.

Well, we went to our annual Halloween Party this past weekend. As I mentioned before, I LOVE DRESSING UP! I have been determined to have one of us WIN one of these years....Rob always gives me the HARDEST time when I start planning in like early September. What can I say, I take after my mother! He also acts like I am forcing him to dress up but then something magical happens when he puts on the costume and gets lots of laughs and attention... HE GETS SOOOOO INTO IT! So we were going for the shock factor this year in hopes for a win with his costume. Well, all my hard work and his guts payed off when he showed up as Michael Phelps, speedo and all. He waited for just the right moment to take off his swimming parka. Everyone gathered around. It was hilarious. I have to admit, I haven't laughed that hard in a long time! I was sooooo proud,pumped, excited (I could go on) when they called his name for "Best Male Costume". I feel complete now! Sad I know. I can be just a little competitive sometime. My costume was pretty good as well (Geisha) but not quite as shocking... maybe next year for me! And yes, I did get permission to put these pictures on here. Enjoy...

Parkhurst Pumpkin Patch

We went with some friends to the Parkhurst Pumpkin Patch on Friday. The kids had so much fun. They have everything "fall" related you can think of. Pony rides, animals to feed, rabbits to pet, a corn maze, hay to jump on, a tire swing,hotdogs to roast, and a hay ride. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good fall activity!
Gabe was even quoted in yesterdays (Saturday) Daily Oklahoman paper. He said his favorite thing was the pony ride. The guy interviewed him right after we had got there and that was the ony thing he had done. I think he LOVED it all! Here are some pictures...

Gabe lost his first tooth!

Well, Gabe lost his first tooth on Saturday! He had a little help from Rob's rear! Funny story...Rob felt Gabe sneaking up behind him to tackle him and so he stuck his bottom out at the last second and Gabe nailed his teeth on his buns! He freaked out, as he normally does, and his bottom two teeth were bleeding and loose! This was Monday and after two different days of biting on something just right (or wrong), one just continued to loosen. By yesterday it was just hanging and I told Gabe I would pull it for him (I used to have my dad pull mine out with pliers when they were barley loose) but he actually wanted to do it himself. I thought he would let it hang there till it fell out on its own but he pulled it and now he probably wont have have a tooth for awhile since it probably wasn't time to loose it but... with the help from BUNS OF STEEL, he scored with tooth fairy! We got to go to an "adult" Halloween Party. We were Ron Burgundy and Veronica Corningstone for all you Anchorman fans!!! So fun!

We are going again this year...just wait till you see what I talked Rob into being!!

This will also be the first time that Syd has her say. So her and Gabe will NOT be coordinating even though Gabe tried!

We got to go for an extra long weekend visit to my parents in SD because Rob had to go for work. He wasn't going to go without us!!

On our way back we flew through Denver and what do you know... cutie Zac Robinson (OSU QB for all you OU fans) was on our flight. I told Gabe and since he missed out on being in the picture with Kirk Herbstreit he wanted to be in a picture with him. He was VERY nice! WHO KNOWS WHO WE WILL SEE NEXT TIME!

Syd's Future Father-n-law

For those of you who watch College Game Day...
So at the airport on the way to SD I spotted the ever-so-lovely Kirk Herbstreit. I normally NEVER would ask to take a picture with someone but he was by himself in the OU/OSU store, and I just happen to really like him, so I asked Gabe if he would take a picture with this guy if he said it was okay. He said "NO!" So I asked Syd... She said "SURE". So I waited patiently as he bought some OU merchandise and I asked him if he wouldnt mind to take a picture with my daughter. He was so nice and bent down to pose with her with all his luggage on his shoulders...He asked how old she was and I told him and he then told me he has a 2 yr. old little boy!! So, I personally think that that means they should get married some day!!
