March

I warned you that I am TERRIBLE at blogging. So now I have a whole month to catch up on... I like to do it it pictures... We started March (and end of Feb) off with a trip to Breckenridge with our good friends Justin and Alysia. Kids stayed at home... It was a much needed little get away! We lucked out with the perfect weather too! Me and Alysia on our deck... Downtown Breckenridge...
Ready to go...
Wrong wife... Rob and Alysia...
Wrong husband... Me and Justin...
Out to eat..

It was BEAUTIFUL!

Then we came home to OUR NEW NEPHEWS we hadn't met yet since they were living in Brazil! FINALLY we got to see those precious boys!!

Then we took a girls trip to Tulsa with our friends Sara and Luci to celebrate my moms birthday.. We spent all of it in Anthropologie (MY FAVORITE STORE)...
And went to see Beauty and the Beast! We had a BLAST!
Annie started sitting up finally!
Syd had an adorable little dance recital! As wild and jerky as this child is she is actually very graceful when dancing! I was impressed!

More Graham and Gibson time...
Spring break we headed to the zoo with the rest of Oklahoma...
Then us girls headed down to Louisiana with my mom and dad to see my brother, sister-n-law and niece Sarah. It was her 1st birthday so we HAD to help her celebrate!

Syd was so happy to see her cousin!
Baking the cupcakes....
Sydnee got to decorate her own cake with all the leftover decorations. It was HILARIOUS! She used everything we had left and took it VERY seriously! She had listened to Aunt Julie say how nervous she was decorating Sarah's cake so the whole time she was saying "This is so nervousing"! IT WAS SO FUNNY!
Finished product...Yes there is cake under all those sprinkles...
Sarah opening her random decorated piece of wood that Sydnee made for her. Don't you guys give one year olds pieces of wood?
An attempt to get a pic with the girls...
Sarah was a pro at eating her cake!
THANK GOODNESS for the DVD player on the way home. We were making great time till we hit Dallas. It took us 5 1/2 hours to get home from Dallas. Just a lovely 13 hour trip home!
Annie got a break from her car seat when we were in the stand still traffic!

Then this past weekend we took the kids to the Thunder Kids Club Spring Event at the Science Museum. I don't know if you know my son is OBSESSED with the Thunder and NBA basketball. He can seriously talk basketball with ANYONE!

They were in heaven!

The highlight was getting to play pop a shot with Serge Ibaka... Dream come true for this kid...

Serge just kept watching Syd not make it to the basket...
So he picked her up to help her out! SO CUTE!!!! She said that he said "I push you" in her ear.
Thabo Sefolosha and James Hardin were there too. They got a pic with Hardin again and Gabe got a high five from Sefolosha.

It was so fun to see how happy they were!

Well that about covers March.

See ya in another month...hopefully!

We did play in it too...

Ready to go... Day 1 Surveying the scene...

Day 1 was more "dragging" then "sledding"

"It's COLD"
Day 2:

Day 5: Starting to melt...finally!
Annie's 1st time out...

Now just gearing up for round 2....

Besides sledding.....

...SOME of the things we did while being trapped for 4 days were...

Watched Sydnee's "shows"... Played aggravation...

Snuggled by the fire...

Straighted Syd's hair (she begged)...

Made Annie smile...LOTS!

Forced Annie to be a "student" of Sydnee... I mean "Ms. Seat"...

Rolled around and played... A LOT...

Put on mascara (once again, she begged). I tried to explain to Syd how unbelievable her eyelashes are. I mean, people pay big buck for eyelashes like hers...They are ridiculous!!! Can you tell I'm slightly envious?

Watched more shows from Sydnee... This one was called the "Valentine Parade".

More practice in the Bumbo... Annie thinks she is really cool in this one!
Took lots of baths, just because...

Oh and we can't forget basketball in the dining room since the playroom is TOOOOOO cold!

Last but not least.....made SNOW ice cream! It was surprisingly delicious!

I think I may quit blogging... I am terrible at it!

We had a nice, but rushed, Christmas Eve with Robs family. They were supposed to leave Christmas Day to head to Brazil to be with Carrie and Wes but the flight got moved to Christmas Eve afternoon (they didn't know till that morning). So, we rushed through presents and ate standing up but we still got to enjoy it!

Here are a few pics...

Annie slept through most of it...

Anyone need their nails done?

So then we headed to my parents house to spend Christmas Eve night and then again on Christmas Day... Andy, Julie and Sarah (my brother, sis-n-law and niece) got there from Louisiana that evening... The kids had a blast with their cousin! (this is new for us)

Juile did a great breakdown on her blog so I am going to refer you to her posts...
here, here, here, and this is pretty cute too!
Here are some more pics from my camera...
So happy to see Sarah....I don't think she knew Syds face literally would be in her face for the WHOLE time she was here~
The best we could get with the 3 of them...
An attempt to get the 4...
Aunt Katie(still not used to that) and Sarah
Christmas morning coming down to see what Santa left... Love his face.
Love her face...
Syd got a new, bigger bike. She also got one last year from Santa but needed a bigger one! Hopefully next year she will ask for something different.
Gabe asked for a new goal for our playroom. He had worn the other one out!
Poor Annie was so stuffed up her little eyes were so watery!
THen we made the long trip (5 doors down) to my parents house in our jammies...
Reading the book my mom made for Syd...
Yearly Christmas shot...
Self- timer shot...

We really had a WONDERFUL Christmas and are blessed beyond belief!
Hopefully next Christmas the kids other two little cousins (Graham and Gibson) will be in town too!!!
