Hello Kitty...

...was the theme of choice for Sydnee's birthday this year.

So, with 84 perfectly placed jelly bellys for eyes, 42 for noses, 126 for bows, and 252 pieces of cut black licorice for the whiskers we had enough "Kittys" for her school, party and family party!!!

I'm so glad they turned out!

This is one happy girl! She only woke up ready to open the 2 gifts, that I said she could open in the morning, at 6:45 (which never happens)!

My big 4 year old...ready to party.
Syd with the "big" kids...

Looks like trouble to me.....I LOVE THIS PICTURE!

So glad Grammy and Papa don't live thousands of miles away anymore and could be here to help celebrate~

Lovin' her some Mar Mar and Granddad...

Half Way There and Happy Easter...

I made it 20 weeks.....it was a LONG first few months but now I can't believe it's half way over! I LOVE THIS PIC...I guess I should have thought of their PJ choice better the night before, knowing I would be taking pics...Gabe doesn't normally wear hats early in the morn...the Easter Bunny left it for him!

All cleaned up...

HAPPY EASTER!

It's Out...FINALLY

Let me start by saying....I don't know where this child comes from.... Just Kidding. He just does not take after me in the pulling teeth department that's for sure. This tooth has been a little loose for a couple months now. I used to have a tooth be a tiny bit loose and I would have my dad pull them with pliers.

I actually have been dreading him loosing his top teeth because that's when they get those BIG teeth that make them look so different and older. But, on Tues. night Sydnee wanted to feel it and she yanked it REALLY loose! So this picture is on Wed. He looked so funny with it moving all sorts of directions. I just knew it would be out by the end of the day....boy was I wrong.
Still Wed....I mean come on....just let me get my hands on it!

This was Sunday night. He would NOT let Rob or I touch it. He would FREAK when we would just try to feel it. By this point it was driving me CRAZY. He looked ridiculous with that tooth hanging down. It looked like he had one big middle tooth. I just could not believe it was still hanging on. So he worked on it some but claims he just couldn't get it out...

I mean seriously....

It could practically turn all the way around and all the way up. Can you see that?

Then this morning, he twisted it a little and what do ya know.....IT CAME OUT!!!!!! Hallelujah!!!!! Just took a week but at least I don't have to look at that thing hanging down anymore!

YEAH!!!!! (ignore the food in his mouth)

He looks pretty darn cute if you ask me. Now if we could just work on that other top one...HEHEHE.

Bearcats

When Rob stopped coaching as a profession almost 4 years ago I always knew he would go back to it some day. Little did we know that it would be with the 6 year old YMCA Bearcats! Rob had a blast and I was so proud of him and all these little guys. It was the first time playing for most of them and they got better and better each game. You could actually tell a difference with Rob as a coach. I know I am biased but he actually taught them skills along with the rules of the game and I can say that a lot of the coaches did not! He took teaching these boys about basketball very seriously and loved every minute of it! Keep your eye out for these boys in the future. They are going to be hard to beat!!! A bonus to this season was that Gabe is now totally obsessed with all things basketball. Like father, like son.
The hard part for Gabe now is transitioning to t-ball!
