Fun at the Perdue Compound

You can't beat an evening, day, afternoon, morning...whatever, at my best friend Saras parents house. (Mrs. Luci is the best) They seriously live on a compound!!! You could stay there for months and never have to leave... They have chickens for eggs, bee hive for honey ( or used to), a veggie garden, gas for the car that you wouldn't have to drive, hay rides, and are stocked up on food and meals for like a year, swing set for the kiddos, and not to mention the BEAUTIFUL pool and sauna to relax in. We love going out there. The highlight of our evening last night was bottle feeding her new baby goats.
The kids love Mrs. Luci and Mr. Larry and Sara of coarse.... Penny went too and I think it was a bit of culture shock for her....coming from the beaches of San Diego to the goats and chickens at the compound. She actually preferred running around with the goats to the two big dogs (they barked too much for her). Can't wait to go back!

A Little Busy...

Well, I have been just a little busy adjusting to life with our new addition to the family (aka: the 9 week old that can walk and doesn't wear diapers). She is a GREAT dog and so far,other then the typical puppy stuff, has lived up to what I always wanted...and why I always have wanted one of these dogs. She is calm, sweet, layed back and VERY LOYAL. She just follows us around and has to have us in sight at all times. The neighbors are amazed as they are walking their adult dogs, who are choking themselves to death on the leash, how she will just walk right along side of us with a leash already! WE LOVE HER!

Anyway, I thought I would post a few more San Diego pictures and Penny pictures...












Oh, and did I mention she has gained 5 lbs already! Take a good look at these pictures because she is gonna get BIG FAST!!

Disneyland

Well we arrived in at my parents house on Wed. night at 10:30pm (12:30am Oklahoma time) and proceeded to wake up at 5:45 to get ready to head to Disneyland. We had a great time. It was a long day ...but great! It was Syd's first time that she can remember. Last time we went she was 11mo. and obviously doesn't remember anything.
The reason we went to Disneyland yesterday after just getting to San Diego was because today we are going to get our puppy (1/2 the reason we came to San Diego this time). The kids are SOOOOOOO excited and so are we! Pictures of her to come in the next few days...

You have to take a picture here right when you walk in...we do it EVERY time!!
