Santa Baby!

So we went to go see Santa last night. It was so funny because for the past few weeks Sydnee had claimed she was scared of Santa and that she was NOT thrilled about sitting on his lap. I said it was all an act and that she had been "brainwashed" by her brother putting those kinds of thoughts in her head. We talked about the day before and prepared her and she seemed happy to go to see him. When we got there she just acted SOOOOOO excited. Rob kept saying it was like a nervous excitement. She was talking non-stop and jumping all around. When we got up to him she refused to make any sort of eye-contact with him. She wasn't scared acting, and she was happy, she just didn't want to look at him. She didn't say anything either. It was so funny to watch. All in all it was a successful night! Even if she didn't tell him what she wanted!

This was the nervous excitement in action...

No eye-contact...

A First and a Second

A first.... official haircut for Syd. I know she is 2 and a half but she just hasn't needed one. So she got a "trim" since her hair was getting a little scraggly looking...Thanks Haley!

A Second...lost tooth for Gabe. I'm so glad because as you can see the big tooth is already half way in behind where the baby tooth was. Now lets hope it moves up. Please, I don't want to even think about braces yet!

Let the Holiday Season Begin...

This is our first Christmas in our new house... We had a lot of fun decorating it this year....I always hate when we have to take everything down. It always feels so bare. So we got everything up Friday and we are going to enjoy it as long as we can!!! I usually try to take everything down before we leave for San Diego so I don't have to do it when we get back. It is always depressing taking it down before Christmas but I am always so glad I did when I get back after the new year... Here are a few pictures...

LSU/Bama

I am sitting here thinking of how to describe our experience at the LSU/Alabama game but I finally came to the conclusion that really no words can really do it justice. It is just something you have to experience first had to really understand...If you ever have a chance, you need to go to a game at Death Valley. It is a experience like no other!!! My sis-n-law is born and raised LSU. She is an alumni and gave is the full LSU experience. Starting off with Rob and my brother getting up at 5:50 to go get the spot for tailgating... Us girls got there at 8:45 and it was PACKED with people all around campus for a 2:30 kickoff. We basically were there for 12 plus hours...It was a blast and ended up being such a great game...here are some pics from the day...

Me and Julie bright and early...

Just one of the MANY dogs we saw that was either shaved, spray painted like a tiger or wearing LSU clothes...

Us at the tailgate.

YUMMY! That's all I can say!

Game Day ( I didn't have a chance to say hi to my boy Kirk this time! :))

Just one of the crazy fans. This one just happened to be a man dressed up like a cheerleader with crazy Bubba Gump teeth. You know, the norm...

Walking down the hill to go in...

Yet another dressed up fan...

Mike the tiger...

Lovely tiger pants ( i couldn't resist taking a picture, sorry lady!)

Us four before the game started...

SUCH A FUN DAY!

Halloween 2008

Here are some pictures from Halloween...

Po (Kung Fu Panda) with face painted...

Po with mask (wasn't allowed to paint his face at school)...

Dora the Explorer...

Close up of Dora...

Trick or Treat...

The Family (Rob and I took a break from dressing up)

Aunt Boosh and Uncle Carl (Carrie and Wes) getting one last Halloween in before they leave in about 10 days for Brazil (for 5 years).

The good part about the kids getting to dress up 4 times (party, church, school & for trick-or-treating) is that you get your moneys worth out of the costume!!
